Day Camp Aide(Part-Time)
About The Position
Works under the general direction of an assigned supervisor to instruct, supervise, and actively participate with youth in a variety of indoor and outdoor summer camp enrichment activities including sports, arts and crafts, field trips, workshops, and lunch/snack times. Monitors all assigned campers at all times and instructs appropriately to ensure their safety using sound judgment. Accompanies campers to different sites, such as pools, field trip outings, etc.Distributes, sets-up, collects, and inventories sports and leisure equipment and supplies. Distributes and monitors lunches provided to campers. Ensures standards of acceptable conduct of campers; and provides appropriate discipline when warranted. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the site.
