Job Summary Job Description Key Accountabilities Trades Luminant Energy’s daily, next day and balmo financial & physical electricity positions Develops and maintains profitable trading book in accordance to Luminant Energy Trading risk management policies and procedures Obtains and disseminates market data to energy trading and marketing organizations Constructs and offers in Day Ahead unit offers into the relevant RTO markets Works with fuels and transmission team in managing fuel optimization and power basis risks Uses market knowledge to maximize the profitability of Luminant’s specific ISO generation fleet intra-month Conducts market research and gathers competitive intelligence on supply and demand forces of various NERC regions Works with both ISOs and operations to coordinate unit outages Assists in Luminant energy trading marketing efforts by providing pricing curves and market intelligence for relevant regions Assists Energy professionals to ensure proper tracking and transmission of physical power flows Assists physical and financial traders by monitoring short-term electricity prices and transmission flows and taking advantage of market pricing discrepancies Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements 3 years experience in the trading of financial & physical power flows and wholesale power trading (or related industry knowledge) 1 to 3 years financial trading experience, i.e., options trading, financial power trading, etc Experience trading next hour and next day products Experience trading physical and financial products in the assigned platform Knowledge of ERCOT market rules, preferable Knowledge in the analysis and modeling of power generation units preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required Competency requirements including strong computer skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem solving skills Ability to work as part of a team, supporting your fellow team mates with a great demeanor High school diploma or equivalent Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications is applicable to above skills Key Metrics Achieve maximum profitability of Luminant’s specific ISO generation fleet intra-month Job Family Trading Company Luminant Energy Company LLC Locations Irving, Texas Texas We are a company of people committed to: Exceeding Customer Expectations, Great People, Teamwork, Competitive Spirit and Effective Communication. Requirements

• 3 years experience in the trading of financial & physical power flows and wholesale power trading (or related industry knowledge)
• 1 to 3 years financial trading experience, i.e., options trading, financial power trading, etc
• Experience trading next hour and next day products
• Experience trading physical and financial products in the assigned platform
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• Competency requirements including strong computer skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, supporting your fellow team mates with a great demeanor
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ERCOT market rules, preferable
