About The Position

ImpactLife, a 501c (3) Non-Profit Organization, is looking for an intern to work in our Component Processing Laboratory. The Lab Intern will develop their science and laboratory skills while under the direction of the Component Processing and Manufacturing team. As a Lab Intern you can expect to prepare blood donor samples for testing, prepare blood components, release and label products, prepare products for shipping, perform quality control testing, and provide support to the processing laboratory. This is not an ordinary health care job. Our work is unique, personal, fulfilling, rewarding and makes a difference right here in our communities. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• Current secondary education student in a science program preferred
• Attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Team player
