About The Position

We are looking to hire experienced Data Center Technicians for a Data Center Build project, which involves server break/fix tasks. This is a 3 month or longer W2 contract position that requires technicians to be onsite daily from Monday to Friday. The role involves various responsibilities related to the installation and build-out of data center hardware.

Requirements

• Experience in data center installation and build-out projects.
• Ability to lift heavy components (up to 90 lbs) and follow safety protocols.
• Experience with hardware installation and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments of data center hardware.
• Install HPC cabinets onto the datacenter floor, placing cabinets according to scheme, feet down, power on.
• Assist with mounting rear door heat exchangers.
• Install cables, including fiber optic, network, or power cables.
• Operate crash carts.
• Operate specialized lifts to move heavy components (90 lbs) and follow all safety protocols (2-person lift).
• Unbox blades and install them into the mainframe cabinet.
• Support hardware checkout by performing hardware fix actions on blades discovered during checkout as needing repair.
• Perform hardware update actions to replace boards.
• Assist with performance diagnostic analysis on hardware and determine repair actions.
• Respond to all requests for hardware actions on blades, switches, cables, and other system components.
