The work: A Databrick Admin is responsible for the management, monitoring, and maintenance of the Databricks platform within an organization. This role involves ensuring the efficient operation of Databricks clusters, managing user access and permissions, and overseeing data security and compliance. Create, configure, and manage Databricks clusters. Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot issues. Optimize cluster configurations for cost and performance. Manage user access and permissions. Set up and manage user roles and groups. Ensure proper authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place. Perform regular system maintenance and updates. Monitor system health and performance metrics. Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues.

Requirements

  • Experience with Databricks platform and Apache Spark.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • US Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Understanding of Azure.
