We are looking for a Database Visualization Engineer to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director of Manufacturing and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline preferred
- 4-7 years’ experience in analytics or software development role
- Expert level knowledge of SQL and experience with systems like MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc..
- Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling techniques and principles.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle Cloud preferred), Microsoft Office proficiency: experience with data visualization tools, AWS Quick Sight preferred
- Ability to walk the manufacturing floor to validate dashboard accuracy and gather user feedback
- Must adhere to Personal Protective Equipment requirements in designated areas
Nice To Haves
- Experience with advanced functions in Microsoft Excel desirable
- Experience with Microsoft Technology Stack and AWS cloud services is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear, documented analytics requirements
- Clean, transform, and model raw data into organized, consumable formats for reporting and analysis
- Implement automated testing, quality assurance, and continuous integration to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data
- Monitor the health of the data platform, optimize data pipelines, and maintain the overall data warehouse structure
- Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards to support cross-functional manufacturing operations
- Create custom queries and analytics tools to empower broader analyst teams
- Investigate and solve issues in a high-variability production environment
- Perform exploratory analysis and modeling to provide strategic insights
- Experience with business intelligence tools for data visualization and reporting, preferably Quicksight
