The Department of Animal Services is recruiting for Business Process Analyst II, BPAII (working title: Database & Systems Analyst). In this role, the incumbent will serve as the Chameleon System Administrator (CSA), ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and development of the department's Chameleon animal shelter management system and other integrated applications. The incumbent will be responsible for system management, installation, and configuration while collaborating with Riverside County IT Department, vendors, and external partners to deploy upgrades, resolve technical issues, and maintain system integrity. Expertise in relational databases, user access management, and data validation will be critical in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and business processes. The incumbent will also oversee various Chameleon-related applications, including ChamCam, Chamrpt List Editor, KnowledgeRocket, PetHarbor, and payment portals, ensuring efficient operation and integration within the department.
