About The Position

This job is to support the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Authority. The Database Analyst works in a client facing role. Primary responsibilities are around tier II and tier III support on all aspects of systems engineering, database administration, development, data interface design, service ticket support.

Requirements

• 5 years of demonstrated experience managing a wide variety of technical and administrative projects; including experience in assisting technical staff, team members and contractors.
• Expertise in documentation, and presentation tools.
• Exceptional oral and written communication organizational, critical thinking and analysis, meeting facilitation, verbal and written communications, and interpersonal interactions skills.

Nice To Haves

• Oracle OAS, Power BI, and ITSM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides knowledge and experience in state-of-the-art hardware electronic component hardware and software design, development, and system implementation requirements.
• Able to define interaction and interface among different categories of requirements and develop appropriate design to support the requirements while employing engineering methodologies.
• Support the senior database administrator in troubleshooting and resolving tickets.
• Understanding of ERDs, OLTP, OLAP, Oracle administration, Oracle Analytics, and ITSM (Service Now), network troubleshooting, and helpdesk required.
