As a Database Specialist, you will provide support and assistance in the administration of database management systems specifically for data driven by eCommerce installations. Your role will involve coordinating and creating reports populated by Agency databases, as well as assisting with requested data pulls that focus on data security, privacy, and consistency. In this position, you will assist with basic database requests and analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, and systems. You will also be involved in designing, developing, amending, and optimizing applicable databases to meet specific requirements, preparing test plans, and writing documentation. Additionally, you will assist application developers with the creation and modification of database objects in the development of databases. Other duties may include checking database statistical reports, investigating data and/or program issues, and assisting with routing and fulfilling software service requests.
