About The Position

Leidos is seeking a Database Modeler for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. Overall responsibilities as a Database Modeler include performing all necessary procedures for several databases across several environments. Specific development, test, and production responsibilities will include: Install and maintain database software, including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS). Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices. Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases. Evaluate and update database designs for better performance. Address integration between databases. Maintain database documents and procedures. Support database security hardening. Address and troubleshoot technical problems.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Requires a Master’s Degree and 15+ years’ experience.
• Additional experience in lieu of degree.
• AWS experience.
• Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements.
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, PostgreSQL, and Linux.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway.
• Experience supporting COTS platforms.
• Experience working with / handling Highly Sensitive Data.
