  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the effective use of database management systems (DBMS).
  • Perform system analysis and programming utilizing modern DBMS technologies.
  • Design and deploy database applications, incorporating efficient file structures, indexing strategies, and security measures tailored to user requirements.
  • Assess and recommend DBMS solutions based on validated business and user needs.
  • Develop, implement, and manage database backup and recovery processes to maintain integrity, security, and availability.
  • Ensure strong data management practices are upheld to support and sustain the operational environment.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in database management, including experience with DBMS internals and application design.
  • Must be capable of providing high technical expertise and support for DBMS.
  • Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products supporting user requirements.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Examples include, but are not limited to: MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development, MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration.
