About The Position
The Database Curator at United Way of Central Maryland is responsible for assisting the Community Resource Database Administrator in developing and maintaining an accurate and comprehensive database of community resources for Maryland residents. This role involves synthesizing resource information, proofreading and editing service descriptions, and providing public education on health and human services. The Database Curator will also engage with community service providers to ensure the database is up-to-date and user-friendly, while offering technical assistance and training to both internal and external users.
