The Database Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Houston Area Women’s Center’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and effective use of the donor database. This position is responsible for processing and recording all gifts, maintaining up-to-date donor records, generating reports and mailing lists, and producing timely acknowledgments and thank-you letters. Working primarily in Blackbaud’s Raiser's Edge, the Database Coordinator serves as a key resource for development staff by providing reliable data and operational support. In addition to database and reporting responsibilities, the Database Coordinator manages donor-related inquiries received through the organization’s development email accounts and responds to questions regarding donations, receipts, and acknowledgments. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. The Database Coordinator collaborates closely with development, finance, and communications teams to ensure accurate reporting, effective donor stewardship, and a positive donor experience. Work Schedule, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00 p.m. 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Hybrid position with planned days in office. Local Travel: Less than 10%
