Job Description: We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Architect to lead our efforts in optimizing and enhancing the performance of our existing database architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability improvements for PostgreSQL environments.
Requirements
- 4 to 7+ years of experience with one or more of the following: PostgreSQL performance tuning, query optimization, and scalability improvements
- Database design principles, including normalization, denormalization, and partitioning strategies
- Designing and implementing scalable database solutions
- PostgreSQL security best practices and implementation of robust security protocols
- Creating and managing backup and recovery procedures for PostgreSQL environments
- PostgreSQL monitoring tools and implementing proactive performance optimizations
- Leading database migration and upgrade projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex database systems
- Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working alongside development teams to improve database integration
- Active Secret security clearance is required
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience with Linux operating system
