At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, we are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children battling catastrophic diseases. As a Database Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications and databases. This position requires proficiency in various relational database, client/server, and object-oriented tools and programming languages. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating large databases, reviewing database designs, and ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures. Your work will involve assembling, manipulating, analyzing, and disseminating data to support our mission. In this role, you will develop Electronic Capture database applications for IRB approved protocols using Redcap and Redcap Cloud. You will implement data quality and departmental standards in alignment with organizational expectations. Additionally, you will prepare and submit reports on data validation and loading, communicating progress to stakeholders and management. Your expertise will also be utilized in supporting and recommending improvements to databases and ETL operational processes, including automation, monitoring, and job scheduling. Performance tuning of databases, SQL, and ETL processes will be part of your responsibilities, along with other duties as assigned to meet departmental and institutional goals.
