Responsibilities: Act as the primary point of contact for all MongoDB-related topics, including reviewing and approving configuration and setup changes. Maintain and support MongoDB databases across both Atlas and on-prem environments. Maintain and support SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases in on-prem and AWS environments. Monitor database systems for health, performance, and availability. Advise software engineers on SQL query optimization and database schema design. Minimize database downtime and manage High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies. Plan and contribute to long-term scalability and database architecture. Implement database changes, apply patches, and manage version upgrades. Assist with building and maintaining data extraction pipelines from MongoDB and SQL Server. Participate in the on-call rotation to support production systems. Requirements: 4+ years of combined experience across data platforms, including at least 2 years in a DBA role (MongoDB and relational databases, infrastructure, and application support). Hands-on data engineering experience (Airflow preferred). AWS experience (minimum 1 year). Advanced T-SQL development skills. Proficiency with Git and modern code management workflows. Strong understanding of backup, recovery, security, and data integrity principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong algorithmic thinking. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Fluent in English.
