Database Administrator
About The Position
Kearney and Company is seeking a Database Administrator to join our growing team! The OneStream Administrator supports the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of the OneStream CPM platform. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, and IT to support GAAP-based financial reporting, ensure system stability, data accuracy, and timely resolution of application issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on OneStream experience, a working knowledge of GAAP reporting, and is looking to deepen technical and functional expertise within a financial systems environment. Administer and support OneStream applications, including dimensions, hierarchies, metadata, and security.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of OneStream functionality and GAAP reporting principles
- Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Effective communication with accounting, finance, and technical stakeholders
- Ability to operate in a close-driven, deadline-oriented environment
- BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience with hands-on OneStream experience as an administrator, analyst, or support role
- General infosystems experience with proficiency in using, implementing, and/or managing software that integrates business process such as finance
- Working knowledge of GAAP financial reporting and consolidation concepts
- Experience supporting financial systems through a ticketing or application support model
- Active Secret Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting GAAP consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany accounting in OneStream
- Hands-on experience with OneStream Transformation Rules and workflows
- Exposure to OneStream calculations, business rules, and reporting components
- Experience supporting month-end close in a GAAP reporting environment
- Exposure to SQL, relational databases, or financial data models
- OneStream Administrator or related certification
Responsibilities
- Assist with user access, roles, and profiles to support GAAP reporting requirements
- Support chart of accounts, legal entity structures, and reporting rollups used for external and management reporting
- Monitor application performance and assist with optimization efforts
