About The Position
The Database Administrator/Sync Engineer will be responsible for managing Azure SQL databases, Dataverse environments, and synchronizing data across AMS, Canvas LTI, and Slate systems. This role requires configuring, monitoring, and optimizing bi-directional data synchronization between legacy and client systems. The engineer will also develop and manage API interfaces, ETL pipelines, and real-time data flows, while implementing backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies for databases. Additionally, support for application performance tuning, connection pooling, and transaction management will be part of the responsibilities.
