About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a Database Administrator Intern for Microsoft SQL Server to join the Database Platform Operations team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. The position is hybrid, remote work but requires in-office meetings at U-Haul Midtown Campus in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program applicable toation Technology, CIS, or Computer Science
• Inform DBMS related college courses preferred
• Basic understanding of personal computer hardware and software programs
• Candidates must be able to learn new things quickly, need minimal direction, and work in a remote environment

Responsibilities

• Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity
• Monitor system alerts
• Assist and support Microsoft Windows Servers
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server
• Participate in technical reviews throughout the course of development projects
• Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
• Maintain detailed technical documentation
