About The Position

ASRC Federal Technology Solutions (AFTS) is seeking qualified candidates for a Database Administrator (Oracle/Postgres) to support our Army analytics Group work in Fairfield CA.
The Database Administrator (Oracle/Postgres) - Senior maintains and secures mission-critical relational databases in support of federal operations in Fairfield, CA. This role requires a Secret clearance and at least 10 years of experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL platforms.
Responsibilities include schema design, patching, backup/recovery configuration, and performance optimization.
The administrator ensures data integrity and compliance with DoD STIGs, and may support database migrations to cloud environments.
Experience with PL/SQL, pgAdmin, or Oracle Enterprise Manager is essential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or additional years of experience
• Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Clearance required
• Certification Requirements: Security+ required.

• Experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with pgAdmin
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager
