About The Position

Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC is seeking a Database Administrator specializing in MS SQL Server. The position is based in Saint Cloud, MN, and is a full-time role with working hours from 8am to 5pm. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and will be responsible for managing a SQL environment with multiple SQL servers while ensuring compliance with information security standards in a highly regulated industry.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience with MS Windows operating systems in a corporate networked environment.
• 3+ years' experience with SQL Server with demonstrated management of a SQL environment containing multiple SQL servers.
• Familiarity with information security in a highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity and experience with a variety of Security concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of and experience with Storage environments, redundant disks and connectivity to them including Local disk, NAS, SAN, RAID, Fiber and iSCSI.
• Proficiency in writing Powershell scripts to automate common database admin tasks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to be influential through both written and verbal interactions with a variety of audiences.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to maintain productivity while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
