About The Position

Amentum is seeking a TS Cleared SQL Database Administrator to support our federal program in Washington, DC. Our mission provides enterprise cloud services to one of our premier law enforcement agencies. The team will leverage agile methodologies, and work to provide enhanced reporting and global search capabilities in order to address national intelligence priorities while protecting confidential data and sources. Responsibilities: Be part of a team that will lead large scale data analysis projects to design and deliver on premises and cloud-based applications Design, implement, and maintain moderately complex databases Maintain database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design Administer and test computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems Coordinate changes to computer databases and plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • 5+ years of professional experience, with 4 years of experience engineering and supporting enterprise databases
  • Current hands-on experience as SQL Server Database Administrator
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field; experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 4 years of experience with programming and database scripting
  • Experience with clustered configurations, redundancy, backup and recovery
  • Working knowledge of AWS services including VPC/networking, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation and Lambda
  • Ability to conduct daily operational checks and product deployments
