About The Position
Verition Fund Management LLC (“Verition”) is a multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund founded in 2008. Verition focuses on global investment strategies including Global Credit, Global Convertible, Volatility & Capital Structure Arbitrage, Event-Driven Investing, Equity Long/Short & Capital Markets Trading, and Global Quantitative Trading. We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Lead/Manager to join our technology team and support our data-driven decision-making across our hedge fund operations by scoping, planning, staffing, architecting, and managing the build out of a new modern Data Warehouse. This role will focus on assessing the firm’s use cases, learning about the various domains, building relationships with our data owners and technology teams, selecting a fit for purpose technology & architecture, hiring the team, coordinating the plans, supporting the platform, etc. This role will report into the Head of Data Technology and is part of a larger Data Initiative to broaden out the firm’s data capabilities. This platform will support regulatory reporting, reconciliation, historical needs, front office processes, BI reporting, intraday record storage and replay.
