  • Create and manage database structures that align with user requirements and business needs.
  • Regularly monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas, tables, and dictionaries; perform data migration and transformation processes.
  • Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.
  • Work closely with software developers, data analysts, and system administrators to ensure data integrity and support application development.
  • Protect databases against unauthorized access and threats, ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to database design, configuration, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with various database management systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and convert it into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database-related issues promptly.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required.
  • 11+ years of experience in database engineering or administration roles, with familiarity in cloud databases, cross domain solutions, and big data environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related computer science area with 10+ years of data engineering experience with related experience within the last 2 years.
