This Data Analyst position involves designing, developing, and administering transactional and analytical data constructs and structures. The role includes working with data access and delivery technologies, utilizing SAS to extract data from Teradata and other relational databases for analysis. The analyst will create SAS scripts and write SQL queries based on input from the analytics and development team. Additionally, the position requires creating SAS data sets by extracting data from Teradata database, SQL Server Management Studio, and flat files using Proc SQL, Proc Import, and SAS Data Step. The data will be cleaned, validated, and manipulated using SAS and SQL. The analyst will also be involved in dashboarding, visualization, analysis, and Tableau reporting, as well as moving data between production systems and across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include working with major querying tools, ensuring data quality, data organization, metadata, and data profiling. The analyst will provide technical support to data warehouse teams and actively support the development of systems that provide monthly and daily activity-based costing reports and profitability information to departments throughout the company using SAS and Teradata SQL, while troubleshooting failed jobs.
