The Data Visualization Developer creates interactive dashboards, reports, and other visual representations of data to help stakeholders understand complex information and make data-driven decisions. This role combines technical skills in data manipulation, programming, and visual design to build user-friendly interfaces that communicate insights effectively. They work with various tools and technologies to extract, transform, and load data (ETL), and then present it in an accessible and engaging way. his position is located in USA VA Arlington, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Your future duties and responsibilities: -Work with large datasets, extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data (ETL) from various sources using programming languages like Python or R, and database management systems like SQL Server or MySQL. -Design the layout, visual elements, and interactivity of dashboards and reports, selecting appropriate chart types, color palettes, and other design elements to ensure clarity and impact. -Create user interfaces for interactive visualizations using front-end development skills, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. -Ensure visualizations load quickly and efficiently, optimizing database queries, choosing efficient chart types, and applying other performance-enhancing techniques. -Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective visualizations. Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and/or 10+ years of experience.
Active TS/SCI required, active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.
Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, etc.
Experience with tools and techniques for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights within data.
Skills in analyzing data to identify and resolve issues.
Clear and Concise Communication: Ability to explain complex data and insights to various audiences.
Understanding the needs and requirements of stakeholders.
Ensuring accuracy and quality in visualizations.
Developing visually appealing and engaging visualizations.
Ability to work with different data sources, tools, and technologies.
