This consulting-level position with the Clinical Data and Interoperability team in the Digital Transformation and Innovation (DT&I) department is responsible for advancing data usability to support MEDITECH Expanse platform implementation. The role ensures that high-quality, normalized, and usable data is consistently available to consumers and systems. Data usability is focused on the real-world consumption of data by clinicians, data scientists, administrators, and report writers. These consumers have varying levels of technical competence and clinical expertise, and this role bridges that gap by interpreting clinical workflows, normalizing data, and ensuring alignment with standards. The Expanse Data Usability Analyst partners with business and product owners, subject matter experts in clinical domains, and technical teams to define requirements, develop data models, and participate in terminology normalization. The position contributes to both foundational data products and use case-specific solutions, with particular emphasis on the company-wide implementation of the MEDITECH Expanse electronic medical record. Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work across multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in data usability.
