Data Technician
About The Position
The Data Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing cable infrastructure in a low voltage environment. The ideal candidate will be able to meet the physical demands of the worksite while also providing excellent customer service. Essential Functions Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of cable systems and associated hardware. Responsible for the use of hand and power tools as well as work in small spaces and from various heights. Assists with housekeeping for a safe job site Other relative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to ask applicable questions and willingness to learn new skills.
- Punctuality and consistent daily attendance
- BASIC HAND TOOLS OWNED BY EMPLOYEE, (DRILL, SNIPS, SCREDRIVERS)
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools to perform assigned job site tasks.
- Understanding of safety as it relates to each division and the use of appropriate safety measures in daily tasks.
- Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
- No technical or previous industry experience.
Nice To Haves
- Higher wages reserved for similar background/experience (Construction, Electrical, or some sort of tradecraft).
- OSHA 10 preferred but not required for hire.
