About The Position

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Team Lead to oversee our Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) functions, manage the overall cloud data architecture, and lead a team of system engineers focused on acquiring sensitive cyber data feeds. This role is crucial in ensuring the secure and efficient ingestion of hundreds of data feeds across multiple data fabrics to support our project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, cybersecurity, and team leadership, with a proven ability to decompose stakeholder data requirements and drive the team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree.
• A minimum of ten years of experience with big data cloud systems and data governance.
• Experience leading data efforts.
• Active TS/SCI w/Poly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NC3 mission space.
• AWS Cloud certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a robust cloud data architecture that supports sensitive data providers across the DoD and IC and rapid, secure data acquisition at scale.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate their data requirements into actionable plans, ensuring that the team is aligned and on schedule.
• Demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, as well as expertise in cloud technologies, data security protocols, and project management.
• Manage multiple priorities and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Evaluate and optimize data workflows, ensuring the integrity and security of data throughout the ingestion process.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and cybersecurity best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members while maintaining a strategic vision for data management.
