About The Position

The NISC IV group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Data Systems Support Analyst to work in our Oklahoma City, OK office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the National Airspace System (NAS) Second Level Engineering group. We are seeking skilled and detail-oriented Data Systems support to assist Aeronautical Information Services (AJV-A) in maintaining critical office operations to aid in the development and maintenance of the National Airspace System. In addition, this support is needed to assist Aeronautical Information Services (AJV-A) in its mission to develop tools which will assist the customer in the creation, maintenance, and distribution of aeronautical data and associated products for air traffic control and the flying community. Primary Responsibilities: Support will be provided by Creating data-driven applications that support aeronautical information distribution to customers. Performing ad hoc software development to assist the Aeronautical Data Team in addressing the needs of special projects. Performing ad hoc software development to customize/configure COTS applications being deployed by the Aeronautical Data Team. Performing ad hoc software development to replace or augment existing legacy software applications that need technology refreshment. Assisting Aeronautical Information Services (AJV-A) in evaluating and testing COTS applications prior to deployment. Assisting Aeronautical Information Services (AJV-A) in creating new workflows for Aeronautical Data Team projects. Assisting in the gathering of user requirements for new projects. Document: applications; code; database structure; process methods; and system architecture as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of working experience. In lieu of degree program, Leidos will accept additional years of experience.
  • Experience with SQL databases and SQL script
  • Experience with C++
  • Able to receive and maintain public trust clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous FAA experience.
  • Geographic Information Systems (GIS) knowledge
  • Experience with ESRI databases and software
