About The Position

Plays a critical role in advancing GWH’s mission by administering, maintaining, and optimizing mission data systems that support impact measurement, regulatory compliance, and organizational performance. This role is responsible for system configuration, database integrity, workflow functionality, validation processes, reporting infrastructure, and submission readiness across platforms supporting WFD and mission services. Primary system administrator and technical lead for mission data environments, ensuring data accuracy, audit readiness, and consistent performance across internal dashboards, scorecards, and external reporting systems including Goodwill Gateway and CaseWorthy.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, data analytics, business administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of business experience, preferably in business management, operations, or quality assurance and analysis.
  • Excellent computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Office).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze opportunities and problems, identify and evaluate alternatives, and develop effective approaches to address any issues.
  • Ability to receive critical feedback and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must maintain an appropriate appearance and adhere to GWH’s dress code.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Administer mission-related database platforms to ensure system availability, accuracy, security, and performance.
  • Configure system workflows, permissions, user roles, and access controls to support program operations and compliance standards.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot system issues, and implement updates, backups, and maintenance protocols.
  • Ensure data security, integrity controls, and disaster recovery processes are maintained and tested
  • Lead system-level validation processes to ensure mission and workforce data are accurately captured, stored, and reportable.
  • Partner with program and compliance teams to identify system gaps, resolve discrepancies, and strengthen data quality practices.
  • Build automated checks, validation rules, and reporting controls to support audit readiness and reporting credibility.
  • Ensure consistency across system inputs, dashboards, scorecards, and formal reporting submissions.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize database structures supporting dashboards, visualizations, and mission performance scorecards.
  • Ensure KPI tracking systems function accurately and align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Support leadership and operational teams by maintaining reliable reporting pipelines and data refresh processes.
  • Troubleshoot reporting failures, data flow errors, and system integration issues.
  • Support and manage system workflows for internal dashboards, scorecards, and external submissions.
  • Serve as system administrator lead for CaseWorthy and Goodwill Gateway data environments.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting systems operate accurately and on schedule.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve speed, reliability, and user experience.
  • Develop standardized workflows, documentation, and system procedures.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance and Program teams to improve data collection efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide system training and technical guidance to program staff and reporting users.
  • Develop user documentation, workflow guides, and compliance support materials.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing system proficiency across WFD teams.
  • Serve as the primary lead or subject matter expert for Goodwill Gateway data submissions.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting in alignment with Goodwill Industries International (GII) standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, verify, and submit necessary data elements.
  • Manage monthly collection, validation, and submission of mission measures data.
  • Ensure consistency across monthly reports, annual reports, and internal dashboards.
  • Identify trends or anomalies and communicate insights to mission leadership.
  • Analyze and benchmark organizational performance against Goodwill network peers.
  • Prepare comparative analyses that highlight strengths, opportunities, and trends across the network.
  • Present insights to leadership to support strategic planning and performance improvement.
  • Provide support and assistance to ensure that GWH is compliant with accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting for GWH in the accreditation process.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address areas not meeting operational or regulatory standards.
  • Other duties assigned by management.
