About The Position

As part of the Energy, Resilience and Sustainability (ERS) Division, you will collaborate with experts to provide comprehensive policy, planning, and implementation services to deliver solutions that address critical infrastructure resilience and security, and data management issues and support the military mission, while reducing environmental impacts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering, data integration, data management, IT systems support, or data platform administration.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience supporting system integrations or data pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Exposure to APIs and structured data formats (JSON/XML)
  • Experience documenting systems, workflows, or technical processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain as US Government Secret Security Clearance Secret or higher)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Strong written documentation skills.

  • Experience working with enterprise data catalogs (Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation)
  • Exposure to data quality tools or metadata management platforms

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
  • Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)

Responsibilities

  • Support integration of data across enterprise systems, platforms, and repositories
  • Assist with development and maintenance of data pipelines and automated workflows
  • Help connect source systems to enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms
  • Support API-based data exchanges and system interoperability
  • Assist in operationalizing data governance policies through technical configuration and system alignment
  • Support metadata tagging, data classification, and lineage documentation
  • Help maintain system inventories and map data flows across business applications
  • Support onboarding of systems into data catalog environments
  • Assist in monitoring data quality indicators and resolving data consistency issues
  • Support implementation of access controls and role-based permissions
  • Help identify and troubleshoot data gaps, inconsistencies, and integration failures
  • Document system integrations, data flows, and technical processes
  • Partner with data stewards, analysts, and system owners to support governance objectives
  • Translate business data needs into technical implementation tasks
