About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Associate Data Analyst to join our Solution Development team in Grand Rapids, MI. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and leveraging opportunities for artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance our solutions. This will involve a comprehensive approach that includes researching AI technologies, conducting demonstrations, testing and implementing solutions, and providing training to ensure effective adoption. Additionally, you will focus on costing analytics, opportunity tracking, the creation and management of Power BI dashboards, KPI management, and driving continuous process improvements. Your contributions will be vital in fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence within our organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills with experience in C++, C#, Java, Delphi, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with AI platforms and knowledge of their practical applications in a business context.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Power Automate to support data visualization and automation tasks.
• Understanding of material handling processes and their integration into solution development.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data management principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate insights.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and engage with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costing, resource management, on-time delivery, and general process efficiencies to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for AI integration, conduct in-depth research, generate business cases, and implement effective AI solutions that enhance our product offerings.
• Create and deliver live demonstrations showcasing AI capabilities tailored to meet specific needs within the Solution Development team.
• Assess potential AI solutions in terms of effort, cost, and scalability to determine their feasibility for integration into existing processes.
• Perform thorough analyses related to project costs and resource allocation, tracking opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
• Develop and manage interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize KPIs and critical metrics, facilitating data-driven decision-making.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators to drive accountability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process enhancements that foster a culture of continuous improvement.
