About The Position
As a Senior Data Systems Analyst at WaFd Bank, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, availability, and usability of our organization's data assets. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze data, identify opportunities for optimization and improvement, and implement solutions that enhance data quality, efficiency, and reliability. You will work closely with various business units and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards that support business objectives and enable data-driven decision-making. This position requires a commitment to upholding the values of kindness and collaboration while servicing our clients and working alongside colleagues. In this role, you will engage in a variety of essential duties and responsibilities. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and other analysts to gather, process, and analyze data that supports decision-making. This includes creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide insights into business performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. You will also be responsible for designing and implementing data models and database objects to support the analytical needs of the business, as well as developing strategies to enhance data quality and governance across multiple data sources and systems. Additionally, you will assist with projects involving the design of data pipelines and ETL-related activities, ensuring the migration or conversion of data into data repositories. You will create and manage documentation necessary to enforce standards and communicate best practices, while also adhering to applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and compliance. Providing technical support and guidance to end-users and stakeholders on data-related matters will be a key aspect of your role, as will your commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry best practices and technologies. As a team player, you will be expected to perform other duties as assigned in support of the team, ensuring that you contribute positively to the collaborative environment at WaFd Bank.
