About The Position

As Data Steward, Manager at Insulet Corporation, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency, usability, and governance of data stored and processed in cloud environments. In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will manage a team of data analysts or stewards, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required- preferably in the field or related to Data Cloud Operations, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or reporting roles.
  • Experience preferably in Product or Technology organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring processes.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve complex data quality issues, including duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with data owners and custodians to remediate data quality issues at the source.
  • Monitor, analyze, and improve the quality of data within our cloud environments to include Product Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Ensure adherence to data standards, governance rules, and best practices to maintain data integrity across Cloud objects such as PHI and clinical data fields.
  • Analyze data flows and business processes impacting cloud records, including automated workflows, system integrations, and manual updates.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimizing processes and workflows and improving data integrity.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into Cloud data and performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and analyses.
  • Implement quality controls, validation rules, and monitoring systems to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of Cloud data.
  • Proactively address data gaps or inconsistencies and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues.
  • Create, maintain and update documentation of data definitions, lineage, and governance standards for Cloud objects and related systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand and support upstream/downstream systems that impact Cloud data.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for data-related inquiries across business units.
  • Advocate for data quality awareness and champion best practices across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data stewards or analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Set clear goals and expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, and support career development plans.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and organizational priorities.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
