Gen3 is seeking a Data Security Architect to provide expert-level leadership in enterprise data protection, classification, tagging, encryption, data-flow analysis, and policy development supporting IRS data and inventory tagging (DIT) expansion.
Develop data classification models, sensitivity labels, governance structures, and access-control frameworks.
Support policy development, IRM updates, data tagging rules, data lineage mapping, and DIT business process re-engineering.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate Data-in-Motion, Data-in-Use, and Data-at-Rest risks.
Support encryption optimization, exfiltration monitoring, and CIPEC incident reporting integration.
Lead development of data flow diagrams, data models, and audit trail improvements.
Bachelor of science or engineering in computer science, and/or related fields.
10+ years data security engineering, data governance, or data loss prevention/data inventory and tagging experience.
At least one of the following certifications or similar: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Comp TIA Network+, ITIL, CCNA, CASP+.
Mastery of data classification, labeling, risk scoring, Zero Trust Data Pillar, and multi-cloud security.
A minimum of three (3) out of the past five (5) years of residency in the United States is mandatory.
Candidates must possess either an active green card or citizenship.

Those selected for this role may undergo a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility criteria for accessing classified information or be eligible for security clearances.
