Be part of a global leader shaping the future of biometric based technology. We are adding a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative security systems analyst or associate security analyst. IDEMIA Civil Identity has offices and factories spread across the United States. As a security systems analyst or associate security analyst reporting to the Manager of Security Operations, you will play a key role in our organization supporting our internal customers at their sites concerning the security of our facilities and people. You will also be responsible for maintaining our security certifications that relate to both building security and personnel security. Typical tasks include:

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • And understanding of data collection and aggregate data rollup from security systems when needed.
  • Basic IT networking that our physical and digital security systems are connected to.
  • Skills to collect and organize information for compliance audits.
  • Interpersonal skills which should include conflict resolution and a customer service mentality.
  • An understanding of project management, including resource planning, calculating, and explaining project budgets; monitor progress; measure performances.
  • Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree (Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Homeland Security).
  • Must be a sole US citizen without dual citizenship.
  • Must be able to successfully pass various background screening requirements including criminal history, education, credit, and drug screen as well as obtain any required program specific credentials and certifications.
  • Must be able to work ONSITE from the Bedford MA office.
  • Travel Requirement: The ability to travel to any of our facilities and conferences within North America occasionally by air for meetings, training and projects should not exceed 10-15% of the time on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control software/hardware
  • Experience with Network Video Recorder software.
  • Understanding of server virtualization.
  • Understanding of IP cameras and biometric access control.
  • Experience of understanding integration of software.
  • Security certifications a plus, such as a Certified Protection Professional or Physical Security Professional.

Responsibilities

  • Work with managers and staff at each site to verify security compliance and posture and assist with needs relating to physical and digital security.
  • Learn, understand and execute security program deliverables for NASPO, ISO, SOC 2 and other security certifications and compliance standards as required.
  • Remotely support our internal customers to troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve issues relating to physical and digital security of our facilities.
  • Develop working relationships with outside security vendors to support new builds, service calls, and appropriate preventative maintenance.
  • Work with the Facilities team on new buildouts that involve physical and digital security or could influence our security certifications.
  • Develop rapport and trust within the company by providing quality support services and working with internal customers.
  • Work with responsiveness, independence, and thinking.
  • Travel to our sites to provide onsite support when needed or for training staff.
  • Participate and help draft quarterly tabletop exercises for various scenarios.
