About The Position

The Data Scientist role at Insight Global involves developing and implementing advanced analytics solutions to drive business decisions, particularly in sales optimization and customer retention. The position focuses on creating and maintaining machine learning models, including forecasting and classification systems, to support critical business applications. The Data Scientist will work closely with BI and Sales teams to understand their requirements and will be responsible for automating and productionizing machine learning pipelines. This is a fully remote contract position with potential for full-time employment.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in applied Data Science.
• Strong Python experience, particularly with scikit-learn and Pandas.
• Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience with forecasting, lead scoring, and attrition models.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Kubeflow.
• Experience with AWS Athena and data lake architectures.
• Proficient in version control using GitHub.
• Experience with unit testing for production ML systems.
• Proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Strong background in A/B testing and experimentation.
• Experience in productionizing machine learning models.
• Understanding of complex system architectures.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of machine learning models, including classification, forecasting, and regression systems.
• Create and implement sophisticated lead scoring models to evaluate potential signups.
• Build predictive models for attrition analysis and value estimation.
• Conduct extensive data exploration and analysis to support business initiatives.
• Collaborate with BI and Sales teams to understand and meet their requirements.
• Design and execute A/B testing frameworks for experimentation.
• Automate and productionize machine learning pipelines for scalable solutions.
