The position involves researching and developing cutting-edge natural language processing (NLP) personalization models to enhance the firm's business application capabilities. The role requires developing robust software solutions in Go and Python, including comprehensive unit test cases and seamless end-to-end API integration. The candidate will use CICD deployment tooling such as Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins to customize, configure, and deploy full-stack machine learning (ML) applications into production. Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure, is essential for deploying various components of the application into the cloud stack, including S3 and RDS for cloud storage, OpenSearch for embeddings and text search, and AWS EKS, ECS, and Lambda for compute. The role also involves evaluating and recommending third-party AI/ML vendors, staying updated with the modern Machine Learning landscape, documenting and reproducing third-party research, and collaborating closely with business and product management teams to gather requirements and implement projects. Additionally, the candidate will independently direct large-scale machine learning projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes aligned with business goals.
