We're actively seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Consumer Markets Division Data Science Team in Newport Beach, CA. As a Data Scientist, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by providing model driven insights to business partners in functional areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Compliance, and IT in a Do/Partner/Support model. You will work with a high-performing team on projects that deliver insights through analytical modelling and rapid hypothesis testing. You will be involved in identifying data sources internally as well as externally, clean, blend, and validate data as needed for analysis, employ machine learning and more tried and true methods including General Linear Models, Clustering, Time Series, Tree-based models, and other approaches to deliver insights and drive ROI. Analytical solutions may be actionable insights or an operational model in production that drives quantifiable value.
