Data Scientist
About The Position
Participate in the engineering and analytics lifecycle using big data and AI-driven methodologies to develop and implement solutions for health data challenges. Apply statistical theory and methods to collect, interpret, and summarize data and make predictions and recommend actions based on data. Conduct data mining to extract raw data and relationships to make recommendations or provide reporting. Complete data visualization based on organization and participant analytical needs. Forecast time series predictions using historical data. Support data cleaning and transformation efforts to remove noise from database and ensure information easily accessible. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms. Identify gaps in data and uses data science methodologies to overcome them. Document all processes and research and complete all work in accordance with security and data governance policies. Comply with CyncHealth’s values and Code of Conduct.
Requirements
- Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Health Science, Health Informatics, or a closely related field
- Six months of experience working with health data analytics which includes data mining, data modeling or data extraction
- Academic or professional experience in statistical analysis
- A basic understanding of cloud-based machine learning application design or deployment
- Proficiency in Python
- Knowledgeable of core CS concepts (such as common data structures and algorithms, profiling/optimization)
