Job Summary Responsible for leveraging data science expertise to derive actionable insights from complex data sets, aiding in driving growth and operational efficiency. Collaborate across departments, providing data-driven guidance and predictive analytics to inform critical business decisions.

  • Support the development of robust experiments and models with high levels of rigor to ensure accuracy, reproducibility, and reliability of results.
  • Utilize modern techniques in machine learning and software development for complex data analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Participate in the development of both stochastic and deterministic prediction models, including exploratory analysis, time series forecasting, and classification tasks with detailed instruction and supervision.
  • Work with open-source libraries, including LLMs, Transformers, ML, and forecasting packages. Apply these models to a variety of datasets to extract insights, make predictions, and inform decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with senior team members while independently managing your own tasks, contributing to team efforts in addressing challenges.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and big data technologies. Explore new tools and techniques to improve existing processes and contribute to innovation within the team.
  • Leverage Azure Cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytics. Implement scalable solutions and manage large datasets effectively.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of quantitative and analytics experience.
  • 3 years of demonstrated Python and SQL experience
  • Demonstrate skills in experimental design.
  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark and MLflow is a plus.
