The position requires the use of Juypter Notebook to automate many manual tasks that the department currently completes. As part of this role we will look at current suites of analytics and work towards improving quality while removing false positives inside of actionable data. This position is project based and typically works on 1-3 assigned projects per week. Those projects with longer horizons and integrations will require excellent time management and project prioritization skills.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, or Information Systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SQL with a general understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Working knowledge of R, R Stat, Python (Juypter Notebook), or similar statistical analytic tool(s)
  • Ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project completion
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with excellent written and verbal communications

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or above in Data Science, Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, and/or Information Systems from an accredited college/university preferred
  • Relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Document and understand business use cases, determine, and analyze relevant data to draw fact-based conclusions and recommend actions
  • Collaborate with data modelers, analysts, and developers to ensure quality analytic products
  • Write and present findings to Operations Systems, technology, and business leadership
  • Learn, analyze, and reconcile information builder’s products
  • Work with UI/UX mock-ups of reports or dashboards
  • High quality professional day-to-day execution of engagements and special projects
