About The Position

As a data scientist supporting a security client, you will use your expertise to prepare annual and monthly reports summarizing the findings and lessons learned related to reports for leadership. You will produce sophisticated analytic models, triage capabilities, and dashboard metrics for Continuous Evaluation and Vetting (CE/CV) Investigators using Commercial off the Shelf Software in combination with all available CE/CV reportable information, such as polygraphs, eReport, walk-ins, referrals, Rap Back, DNI CE alerts, emails, and EAFR. You will develop a dashboard capability for CE/CV Investigators that will allow triggers to be efficiently prioritized and worked on. As a data scientist, you will conduct text mining, data infrastructure, and data visualization work for the client. In this role, you will also develop a process to integrate security and risk management activities into the CE/CV development life cycle following the Risk Management Framework. Join us. Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data science, mathematics, or a scientific field
  • Experience using COTS statistical software for advanced statistical analysis of operational tools and data visualization
  • Experience with data mining
  • Experience using software packages used for advanced statistical analysis of operational data and tools for data visualization
  • Ability to develop, manipulate, and maintain databases
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in statistics, image science, remote sensing, earth science, or physical science, or 11+ years of experience in statistics, image science, remote sensing, earth science, or physical science in lieu of a degree
