About The Position

AnaVation is seeking four (4) Data Scientists with minimum Secret level or higher clearances to support an exciting Federal client mission in the National Capital Region (NCR). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience collecting and analyzing large data sets then developing related reporting and visualizations. This is a full-time position located onsite with our customer. What you will be doing Acquire, clean, and merge data from various partner systems Develop ETL pipelines for regular ingestion Maintain system documentation such as SOPs, data dictionaries, schemas, rules, logic, and related Perform data analysis and predictive modeling to support investigations Build and maintain interactive dashboards tailored to various levels and audiences, including audits Prepare analytics summaries; create and deliver operational briefings Periodically audit data to validate data quality Identify and recommend opportunities for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related
• Minimum three (3) years of hands-on data science or analytics experience
• Clearance: Minimum active Secret clearance with TS/SCI strongly preferred
• Advanced experience using Excel, Python, R, and Tableau to ingest, clean, contextualize, analyze, and report actionable information using large statistical data sets

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience supporting Federal law enforcement as a data scientist or data analyst
