About The Position

Duties: Extract and transform data from various sources and technologies. Gather, document, and clarify reporting requirements from business partners. Create, enhance, update, and test reports and stored procedures. Troubleshoot and resolve production reporting issues. Recognize and communicate meaningful trends/patterns in data and reporting. Identify and validate data sources and serve as a data expert. Advise business and technology partners on data-driven opportunities to increase efficiency and improve customer experience. Proactively interface with, and gather information from, other areas of the business including Operations, Technology, Finance, and Marketing. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Product Development Manager, or related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Risk Management, Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Data Scientist, Product Development Manager, or related occupation.
  • Experience performing data manipulation and query optimization on data sets using SQL in either Microsoft SQL server or building Alteryx workflow.
  • Experience creating visualizations using Excel, Python or Tableau to communicate findings and insights to senior management.
  • Experience performing end to end projects to develop Tableau dashboard including communicating with business users to gather business requirements, and providing SQL code to developers.
  • Experience building mock-up in Tableau or Excel and communicating with business users on end product.
  • Experience using Python to build out statistical analysis including linear or logistic regression as well as finding outliers.
