In this position… The Yield Management (YM) team supports all Ford Blue, Model e, and Ford Pro product lines and tackles the ~5 highest priority strategic and profit projects each quarter. The team works in “Value Sprints” with a dedicated team focused against a specific mandate for a dedicated period of time. The team applies problem-solving framework and leverages advanced analytics to derive insights and deliver tangible recommendations to create value for Ford. Yield Management’s project portfolio aims to deliver a balance of: Near term vehicle line specific profit improvement or risk mitigation actions New or expanded enterprise capabilities Long term portfolio optimizations This Yield Management position operates cross-functionally across Marketing & Sales, Brand, Product Marketing, General Management, GDI&A, Finance, & Ford Credit. Data Scientists come from a range of different backgrounds and work on specific “sprints” typically for 6-8 weeks.
