About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as a Data Scientist to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), embedded within the Analysis Office (AOS). This is a mission-focused position supporting high-priority intelligence operations, where your work directly informs daily analytic and operational decision-making. The environment is fast-moving, data-rich, and uncertain. Data sources are large, diverse, and imperfect. Patterns are subtle. Questions evolve. Your role will be to bring structure, rigor, and insight. Designing repeatable analytic processes that surface discoveries others miss and delivering them in ways that integrate seamlessly into operations. You will lead analytic efforts with minimal direction, applying experience, judgment, and rigor to every product. Collaborating across NGA and Intelligence Community partners, you’ll help integrate perspectives and strengthen collective understanding. Advising government leadership on analytic methodologies, processes, and technologies, while mentoring others and setting the standards for quality and relevance. Requirements
- Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance
- You have achieved the accomplishment of a Master’s degree + 5 years / Bachelor’s degree + 7 years / Associate’s degree + 8 years / 10 + years of relevant experience.
- You have proficiency in Python in order to automate and create solutions that scale, adapt, and withstand mission demands.
- You have gained strong expertise in building processes around large datasets to support in designing repeatable methods that extract real discoveries from complexity.
- You have a strong skillset in operational visualization in order to make discoveries and present them through clear, intuitive visualizations that team can use immediately in daily operations.
- Experience with tools such as ArcGIS, Tableau, SPSS, SAS, Excel, or similar to query, aggregate and optimize large datasets.
