About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Data Scientist to join a fully remote team, applying data-driven insights to solve complex business challenges. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in building data science solutions or relevant professional experience without a degree.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, with familiarity in Java or Scala.
• Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning techniques, and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Knowledge of data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data science platforms and environments.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in logistics, rail, shipping, airline, warehousing, or supply chain industries.
• Experience with geospatial data, open-source libraries, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify business problems and define data-driven solutions.
• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning and AI models to improve business processes and outcomes.
• Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility for analytics and modeling.
• Create clear and compelling visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data science, AI, and machine learning.
• Apply best practices for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to support accurate and reliable analyses.
• Contribute to moderate-to-complex projects involving predictive analytics, optimization, generative AI, or other advanced modeling initiatives.
