About The Position

We are seeking a senior-level data scientist to develop and operationalize advanced analytic solutions that directly enhance intelligence production and mission effectiveness. In this role, you will design and deploy Python-based applications and analytic pipelines that integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including web APIs and enterprise repositories. You will create services, interactive dashboards, and analytic interfaces that improve analytic rigor, transparency, and reproducibility. Your work will modernize legacy workflows to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability in high-consequence environments.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (a combination of experience, professional certifications, and education may be considered in lieu of years of experience).
  • Senior-level proficiency in Python and demonstrated experience building scalable, production-ready applications.
  • Experience querying and integrating web APIs.
  • Proficiency with at least one Python web framework (Flask, FastAPI, Django, or similar).
  • Experience developing visual analytics using Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh, or comparable tools.
  • Experience building dashboards using Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Proven IC experience applying documented analytic methodologies to solve complex intelligence problems.
  • Experience with Activity Based Intelligence (ABI), All-Source, or Multi-INT analytic environments.
  • Familiarity with common IC data repositories.
  • Understand modern data science best practices, including governance, transparency, reproducibility, and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to operate independently at a senior level with limited oversight.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with USSOCOM and broader U.S. military organizational structures.
  • Experience developing web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience using Git-based version control platforms such as GitLab or GitHub.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
  • Working knowledge of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
  • Proficiency with geospatial processing frameworks (GDAL or ArcPy).
  • Proficiency with GIS desktop software (ArcGIS Pro or QGIS).
